I’m starting a pilot “Ready 2 Retire Case Study Group” in April and I’m looking for a handful of people to work with to create successful case studies before our official launch of the Ready 2 Retire Program later this year.
I’ll be working very closely with a small group of people for six weeks.
Here’s some of what were going to work on:
–We’ll explore the basis for retirement planning success, The Buckets Approach to Retirement Planning. This approach will help you determine how much is enough for a secure retirement.
–We’ll take one week on each Bucket to help you determine how much is enough to put in it.
–We will explore the best tools and strategies to use for each Bucket so that every dollar is aligned with your priorities.
–We will answer questions you have related to your specific situation.
Here’s how the structure of the community will work over the six weeks
— We will meet online as a group for one hour each week to overview that week’s content
1. BUCKETS APPROACH TO RETIREMENT PLANNING
2. THE LIQUIDITY BUCKET
3. THE INCOME BUCKET
4. THE GROWTH BUCKET
5. THE PROTECTION BUCKET
6. USING HOUSING WEALTH AS A PART OF THE BUCKETS APPROACH
— There will be a collaborative environment for asking any questions
— Participants will schedule one on ones (online Zoom meetings) in order to apply the content to their specific situation. For example, in the week for determining how much is enough for the Liquidity Bucket, I would work with you one-on-one with your situation to determine how much is enough with your numbers and goals.
— At the end of the six weeks we will have explored all of the content and you will have six one-on-one sessions to make sure you know exactly how much is enough for retirement and for each of the Buckets.
Due to the time involvement on my part for each participant involved, I will need to limit this pilot group to a small number of individuals or couples. At this stage what is most important is that I find people who will be committed to participate and provide feedback. The Ready 2 Retire program we offer later this year will be a paid course, but we will not be charging members of the pilot program. In fact, we need the pilot plan participants to give feedback about the amount they believe should be charged when it is rolled out.
